Zombies Survival The New World (book 1) is a look into the lives of Tom Boyd and his sister, Kelly Boyd and their escape from the zombie outbreak in St. Charles County, MO. The Boyds make the choice to travel to their farm in Rolla, MO in an attempt to survive being consumed by zombies. Along their travels the Boyd family meets uncertainty around ever corner. Their lives will never be the same now that the zombies are overrunning their communities and the world. New friendships are formed as the Boyds paths meet others in their quest to survive. Will the Boyds plan to survive work in the new world or is their journey one that leads to a horrific death.

Zombies! If you like zombies, we got 'em for ya.As usual with zombie stories, this one starts with the world already fully inundated by the zombie apocalypse. This makes awkward explanations, about how their numbers were able to multiply to that level, unnecessary.
This story centers around three young adults and their dying mother, as they escape from a zombie-infested town and make their way through the zombie infested countryside, hoping to reach the supposed safety of their self-sufficient farm.
Will they make it? Or will the zombies eat them? Well, you'll just have to read the book to find out.

I enjoy reading a suspenseful, action-packed, quick read whenever I can. I enjoyed this book and could relate to the characters. Warning, you want to block out time to read it, because when you start, you must finish. Great job John, I feel like I know your characters, perhaps they live next door? Sure would hate to see what happens to them, happen to me and my family....shhh, I think there may be a sequel coming up soon and you'll want to grab that one too.
The story line was good but many errors in the book. The books really need to be proof-read before being published. The books are so short that they really should be just 1 novel. Hopefully after completing these 4 books, the author will 'learn' what is correct, ie. spelling, word choice, punctuational, etc.
All in all the book was good.
If you're into zombies and need a quick fix. This is it. Just enough action and suspense to start the adrenalin pumping before the cavalry comes to the rescue.
First off, the story is pretty good, but to sell this as a book is just ludicris. I read this in under an hour. The book just stops and then they want you to buy the next one in the series. This series is one book chopped into four parts. If you want people to buy your books please dont try to rip them off.
Like one of the other reviewers said, this is a good, quick read. I don't have the time to read long books that drone on and on. This book was just what I needed A quick hour of enjoyable escapism.
What a fun read. Great work John Taylor! Loved the storyline and characters. It was an action packed, suspenseful, short read - All the right ingredients for a Zombie fiend -) Looking forward to reading more books in this series.
Survival is a very interesting novela about a family's tale in how they escape from zombie attack. The story is captivating because the writer explains it in minute details. You really get a sense that you're in the story.
If you enjoy short novela this story will be worth a read in about an hours time.
